Confidential Advisor
What is the confidential advisor for?
Unfortunately, uncomfortable or unsafe situations can happen anywhere. This may include sexual harassment, sexual assault, violence or aggression, but also discrimination, bullying, intimidation, or abuse of power. These situations can occur within the team, during events, or even in online environments.
If something like this happens, or if you simply feel uneasy about a situation, you are always welcome to contact the confidential advisor for a conversation or advice.
How does it work?
The confidential advisor provides a safe space where you can share your story and be taken seriously. They will listen carefully and, if you would like, help you think about possible next steps.
Together, you can explore options and look for a solution that feels right for you. Nothing will happen without your consent – any action is only taken in consultation with you and based on your wishes.
What is the confidential advisor not for?
The confidential advisor works independently and is not part of the board. Their role is not to investigate complaints or determine what is true or false.
Instead, their purpose is to support you, offer guidance, and help you consider ways to address the situation in a way that works best for you.
